How can you help?
Fundraising ideas:
The work of the Barn Owl Trust is funded almost entirely by donations from Friends of the Trust and members of the public, with grant aid for specific projects.
It costs The Trust approximately £30 to rescue and care for a disabled Barn Owl for a month and more than £200 a week to provide our Free Information and Advisory Service.
So, what can you do to help the Barn Owl Trust? Well, here are some ideas .....
Plan a sponsored event. The sky's the limit! Apple bobbing, bungee jumping, hiking or walking, litter picking or even bedroom tidying! Choose a sponsored event that will be a good challenge for you - your sponsors will really appreciate your efforts and you will have such a sense of achievement when you meet your challenge - talk to your parents.
Spread the word! Tell other people about the Barn Owl Trust and the work we do. Encourage others to support the Trust by becoming friends or Junior Owlet friends.
Before embarking on your fundraising project, always make sure you have the support and agreement of your parents/guardians or teachers.
We would love to hear about your fundraising efforts. Send us your ideas and photos and we will put them on this page to inspire future fundraisers - good luck!
