Donations
The Barn Owl Trust is run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Wherever possible we provide a free service or we charge only expenses. In order to do this we need to raise funds mainly through donations, fund-raising events and grants. You can help conservation by making a donation to the Trust and you can be sure that every penny will go towards conserving the Barn Owl and its environment. Why not become a regular supporter and adopt one of our resident owls for yourself or as a present, or you could become a Friend of the Trust and receive regular news of our work?
Gifts
As a present for someone who has everything, we run an environmental gift scheme. Giving an environmental gift can help to rehabilitate an injured wild Barn Owl on behalf of the recipient; it will purchase Barn Owl food for a week, fund a trip to the vets, cover the cost of a full course of treatment or rehabilitation and release. The recipient will receive a card, certificate and a little information about the Trust.
If you are a UK taxpayer, any donation you make can be increased by 25p for every £1 if you complete a gift aid declaration. If you make a donation of £10 we can claim an additional £2.50 from the Inland Revenue. If you make a donation of £100 then the amount we can claim back is £25.
Collections
On special occasions, rather than receive gifts they don't really want, some people choose to have a collection in aid of the Barn Owl Trust. When donations are made to the Trust we are pleased to send a certificate and card to commemorate the event.
To find out what items we currently have on our Wish List please go to ‘Do you have anything we need?' This is an ever changing list of things both large and small that would help us.
A very important way in which some people feel able to help us is by leaving a legacy to the Trust. In recent years we have received legacies that have enabled us to develop our work in ways that might not have been possible a few years ago. If you feel that you would like to leave a legacy to conservation please consider the Barn Owl Trust.
If you would like to make a one-off donation please click one of the links at the top or bottom of this page, thankyou.
